The following steps outline the information required in order to accurately price a project.

Step #1 Estimating

In order for a fabrication specialist to accurately provide a written estimate you will need to provide the following information:

Material

The type of material to be used will affect pricing. Types include: Granite, Engineered Stone, Marble, Travertine, Soapstone, Onyx, Slate, and Concrete. ADP inventory slabs and remnants are most desirable due to availability and waste allocation. Any material can be acquired should we not stock it.

Thickness

ADP advocates the use of single thick material. It is available in 3cm (1 ¼") and 2cm (3/4"). Slabs can be doubled up or laminated to provide an even thicker look. This will add costs and time to your project.

Edge Profiles

There are many edge profiles. Choose from "Standard", "Upgrade", "Premium", and "Elite".

Engineered Limestone - 4" Backsplash - Eased Edge - Farmhouse sink

Cutouts

Under mounted sinks are the sleekest, cleanest, and most desirable. Other types of cutouts include: top mount sinks, electrical outlets, and cook tops.

Backsplash

Most all countertops will need back and side splashes to finish the job and contain moisture. Options include: tile, 4" slab, and full slab. Custom designs are very common.

Drawings

Scaled cabinet drawings with plan (top) and elevation (front) are ideal. Hand drawings in feet and inches will do. Please indicate where walls, sinks, and appliances are. Blueprints will also suffice. An ADP representative will be happy to do a field measure and consultation free of charge.

Example: 1 1/4" Absolute Black granite; top round edge profile; 1 undermount sink, 1 cooktop, and 2 electrical outlets; 4" backsplash

Step #2 Contracting

We advise getting contracted as far in advance as possible. This will allow our project coordinators the time to procure all necessary materials (slabs, sinks and faucets, and appliance information) required prior to template. We recommend three weeks at a minimum. For those getting a late start, don't worry! We are experts at pulling it all together.

Step #3 Template

We will arrange our templater to arrive at the job site once all cabinets are completely installed (secure and level). We provide a template readiness sheet and preparation package to each client so we all stay on the same page. Communication is the key! We will insist you or your agent is present to discuss and sign off on the details of the project. Items usually discussed include, but not limited to, seam locations, overhangs, drill hole locations, and cutouts.

Step #4 Fabrication
ADP employees the finest craftsmen in the state. We take pride in our workmanship and the teamwork needed to make it all happen every day. We use traditional methods along with modern technology. Our quality is second to none. We invite you to visit our state of the art 40,000 sf facility just west of Downtown Orlando.

Step #5 Installation

Installation will take place two to four weeks from template depending on the scope of work and readiness. We try to accommodate your needs as best as possible. Please let us know of any specific requests as far in advance as possible. Most installations will take one day to complete. Some follow up detailing may be required. Our quality control specialists will see that your project is promptly and professionally completed.
